It’s time for Holland Festival

Wow, where has the time gone? In February we were determined to make The Holland Festival happen and we started to plan, tentatively-well, you know how it was then, and we had a few hiccups and there may be a few things that are different than they were before.

We have a new website, we have new Klompen Dansers and Kinder Klossers, we have some new food vendors and we have lots of new artists for our craft fair.

A few things are on “hold” for the year (but they may return in the future): The kid’s tent, the kettle corn, the Klompen Danser’s scholarship fundraiser and the Library book sale to name a few.

And some things remain the same: Olli Bollen, Raffle, Parade, Car Show, Klompenhaur, music and so much family and love.

We need to let you know:

Friday and Saturday we will have Bouncy Houses. Wristbands will be sold on Friday and Saturday- watch our entertainment section for bouncy house times.

The Saturday street scrubbing will take place on Main Street between the Het Museum and the Windmill.

The Parade will begin some time after street scrubbing and klompen dansing. Usually some time around 2 pm but it may be earlier or later depending upon the Dansing.

Stay after the parade for food, shopping and music.
